Overcoming impostor syndrome and low self-esteem
Overcoming self-doubt, self-criticism and learning how to view yourself, speak to yourself and treat yourself more positively.
OVERVIEW
Overcoming Impostor Syndrome and Low Self-Esteem is a practical, experiential workshop designed for anyone who struggles with self-doubt. Whether you will use these skills and tools to build your own self-esteem, or to understand how to help your clients, this course will leave you with clarity and practical skills to use here and now.
When you don't feel "good enough" this can come out in a lot of different ways. Intense self-criticism. Struggling to take compliments or achievements on board. Setting unrealistic aims and expectations, feeling low in confidence or always putting your needs last.
This course helps you to understand how these patterns develop and how to shift them.
We start by understanding the thought processes involved and a variety of tools we can use to tackle these, to see ourselves more fairly and build self-compassion. We will then go on to talk about action: self-esteem is not only about how you see yourself, but how you treat yourself. We will cover tools that help to build better self-care, and greater confidence in ourselves and our ability.
And even how to become more comfortable with compliments.
Whether you are here for personal growth or professional development, you will leave with a deeper understanding of impostor syndrome and a set of tools you can use immediately.
This course holds 3 ICF CCE points: 1.5 core competencies and 1.5 resource development.
